A Bug's Life

For Halloween, Ellie was a bug and John was an exterminator. (Tip of the hat to our neighbors, the Binfords, who own Binford pest control.) We managed to handle the trick-or-treaters without John getting too scared. We were also able to keep a good stash of candy.

Halloween

For breakfast one morning, I wrapped little smokies in croissant rolls (pigs in a blanket). I hadn't made these for John before. When he saw them, he came up with a name for them: "round bales". I think he's been hanging around Pop-Pop too much!
